The Beginning.
Armed with a vision, late nights, and endless coffee, Avionté’s founders sketched the first screens of a platform designed to be intuitive, powerful, and easy to learn. Fun fact: the original name—though short-lived—was actually Ándale.
2007
A big year for Avionté.
We announced our official launch to the staffing industry, celebrated our first customer going live, and attended our very first Staffing World in San Antonio. Our second-hand booth made the journey from Minnesota to Texas in a trailer hitched to Founder John Long’s minivan.
2010
The First CONNECT.
It looked a little different back then—we could all fit around a single U-shaped table. But the purpose was the same: bringing clients and partners together to learn, collaborate, and build community. From the start, Avionté believed that relationships matter just as much as software.
2012
Growth with Purpose.
Avionté launches the Avionté Hope Foundation, created to positively impact local communities and empower employees to make a difference. The Foundation remains an important part of Avionté’s culture today, continuing to inspire volunteerism, compassion, and community connection where we live and work.
2013

Avionté earns its first Top Workplace honor—a proud moment for the entire team. It marks the beginning of ongoing recognition for our culture and commitment to creating a workplace where people love what they do.

Avionté partners with Serent Capital to accelerate growth and elevate the customer experience. The investment helps fuel innovation, expand our reach, and reinforce our commitment to putting customers first.
2017
Sustained Growth and Recognition.
Avionté is named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies for the sixth consecutive year—an achievement that would grow into a decade-long streak. Fewer than 1% of all companies ever ranked have reached this milestone, reflecting our clients’ success, our team’s dedication, and our shared commitment to growth and innovation across the staffing industry.
2018
Setting the Stage for Something Bold. Avionté acquires COMPAS Technology to accelerate innovation and fast-track development of a modern, web-based staffing solution. The move reflects Avionté’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and its vision to deliver a truly unified, end-to-end platform for staffing firms.
2019
A Bold New Era.
A year after acquiring COMPAS, Avionté launches AviontéBOLD—a modern, web-based platform designed to unite teams, simplify workflows, and drive growth. More than a product, BOLD marked a movement toward innovation and empowerment, complete with a refreshed logo and brand that symbolized connection, growth, and a new generation of Avionté.
2020
A New Chapter of Leadership and Vision.
As the world navigated a global pandemic, Avionté adapted, hosting its first virtual CONNECT and continuing to deliver solutions to help clients succeed. Amid the uncertainty, Rishabh Mehrotra joined as CEO, ushering in a new era of innovation and growth. A true visionary, he strengthened our customer focus and paved the way for many transformative solutions to come.
2021
Powering the Talent Experience.
Avionté acquires WorkN, combining its mobile technology with the power of the Avionté platform to launch Avionté 24/7—a fully integrated mobile app for staffing talent. The acquisition marks a major step in redefining the talent experience and extending Avionté’s end-to-end vision beyond the staffing agency to the talent workforce itself.

Avionté acquires SimpleVMS, taking a major step toward its vision of a fully connected end-to-end staffing platform—linking employers, agencies, and talent in one continuous workflow.

CONNECT Turns 15!
What began as a small gathering of 50 people has grown into a vibrant annual event with more than 500 attendees and 30 integration partners. CONNECT has become a true celebration of the Avionté community—made possible by the incredible employees, clients, partners, and industry peers who share our passion for the staffing industry.
